WELCOME TO THERASPACE!

TheraSpace Services is based in Gloucestershire, and provides both in person (at local rooms) and online therapeutic support for children, young people & adults, and support for parents and carers across the UK. Our needs led interventions are delivered by our team of carefully hand-picked therapists and practitioners, all of whom are recruited for their therapeutic skills and expertise in working with trauma and adversity.

We are registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and are proud to work to their ethical framework.

Types of Therapy we offer!

Our ‘can do’ approach and our well-practiced problem-solving skills mean that we work hard to find creative, needs led solutions; the chances are that if we can’t offer an intervention, we will know someone who can!

Some of our areas of experience and expertise

Our therapists are trauma-informed, skilled and knowledgeable in attachment focused approaches. We prioritise safety in relationships and work to ensure that our interventions provide a framework of safety, predictability, compassion and empathy.

We are grounded in reality and not afraid to tackle some of the difficult conversations. We know that often children, young people, adults and families benefit from support to make the changes that help to improve their lives.

Our partner agencies

Regional Adoption Agencies – we provide support for many adopted children / young people and their parents / families.

Special Guardianship / Kinship Teams – working with children / young people and / or their carers.

Local Authority Commissioners – we are approved as a provider for local authorities across the UK and work extensively with social workers to support families vulnerable to risk.

Special Educational Needs and Disability Services (SEND) – we work across SEND services and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our therapeutic work that relates to children and young people with often complex needs. We can help navigate the confusion between neurodiversity and trauma.

Schools / Educators – we can help you to understand the complex and confusing needs of the children you worry about the most by offering a collaborative approach that aims to increase the potential for successful school experiences.
